We are a small family owned business, where our furry customers come first. We realise that raw feeding can be quite daunting and are here to support you through this process. We keep our customer base small as our service is personalised to each customer and their owner.
We source our raw from a range of reputable suppliers, our main aim is to offer your furry friends as much variety as possible. We work off the 80% protein 10% bone 10% offal (5% of which we would love to be liver) guideline, and encourage you to do the same. We try and have this all available so you can make the best decisions for your pets, as you know them best!
We are advice, supply and fun.
ABOUT THE OWNER:
Best for pets is owned and managed by Julie who has numerous years under her belt in the pet industry. She has been a volunteer at a few rescue centres within Christchurch, has trained as a groomer, had a brief stint as a Vet nurse, has studied canine behaviour, has been a dogwalker and worked for a well known pet sitting service, also worked at the first Doggy Daycare in Christchurch and has 3 years at a Petstore for that all important product knowledge. She is now studying canine and feline nutrition, this will be an ongoing pursuit for knowledge. You can see that there is a huge passion for our furry companions.
We are here to help with any questions, but you are in charge of your pet’s health and diet, we have already had some amazing results and feedback from our clients, 2 and 4 legged.
Best for pets is registered with the Ministry for Primary Industries, as a further food provider.
